This is what I look like today. It’s been a struggle this season keeping the weight off! I’ve learned a lot about my body,how I gain and lose weight… As well as the most effective ways for me to lose weight and maintain! Initially I thought losing weight was the hard part, for me that isn’t completely true it was a task to get it off and equally as much effort has been expended to keep it off.
Kettlebell class last night!
This morning S.o decided to join me in my work out. It was a good time! And being that he is so much taller than I am (not to mention a seasoned runner) I tried to keep up with him! And I did a pretty decent job! Also Accomplished my 1st 6 min mile probably cause I was running his pace!!!
After the jog we came home and did the kettlebell exercised that I posted yesterday.
I decided that I add weight lifting 3 times a week :)
So my plan today was to get my second mile time down and I succeeded! This was best second mile time yet. I’m working on pacing myself so I can run none stop! In the past I ran long distances but I took breaks in between. I would love to run a straight 6! I’m working up to it. I ran none stop today. It was raining and kind of cold but I’m happy with my progress!!
Synopsis on my new found motivation
I gained weight when we got to Indy! I guess I felt good about where I was and forgot how much work it took to get there. When I realize what I had done.. (which was become complacent) I just kind of fell in a slump. I had been working so hard for so long! I saw amazing returns on the time I invested in myself and my fitness. However after being on the same road for so long things get dull. And here is the real story:
So I went missing again
I know I’ve done a pretty poor job of updating! I’ve been trying to decided what I was going to do next. I decided to started Insanity again, My body really responses well to the crazy cardio! So I’m on my second week! I decided that I would substitute some of the workouts and the plan. Like Sunday I was suppose to do the Pure cardio instead I jogged for a little over 4 miles. And I also plan on skipping ahead to month 2 at the end of this week. I’ll be doing week 1 & 2 of month 1, Then week 1& 2 of month 2.
